- Sir John W. Swan is chairman of Pangea Capital Limited, a specialist adviser and has served in this capacity since February of 2000. Sir John brings forty years of investment experience in the fields of asset management, banking and real estate development serving on a number of domestic and international boards in such diverse industries and sectors as power generation, shipping, banking, oil and gas exploration and extraction, and real estate. Sir John also spent twenty-five years as member of Bermuda’s Parliament and thirteen of those years as Premier giving him a unique perspective and exposure on international policy and developmental affairs.
- Attila Koperecz is president, chief investment officer and an executive director of Pangea Capital Limited overseeing the day-to-day risks, investments and allocations and has served in this capacity since the company’s inception in February 2000. Mr. Koperecz has fourteen years investment experience having worked as an investment banking analyst at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York, an Emerging Markets proprietary trader and portfolio manager at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in Frankfurt, Germany and a global macro interest rate and currency proprietary trader and portfolio manager at HypoVereinsbank in London. Mr. Koperecz is a graduate of the MBA Spot program at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, a Chase Manhattan Bank investment banking managerial program and a BA graduate of Connecticut College where he graduated with honours in economics and history.
- J. Nicholas Swan is managing partner and chief operating officer and has eight years of investment experience and is managing director, director of sales and marketing and an executive director of Pangea Capital Limited overseeing the day-to-day operations and has served in this capacity since the company’s inception in February 2000. Mr. Swan graduated from Kent law school in 1996 and has worked in the Financial Markets Group at State Street Bank in London as well in the sales and marketing department at State Street Global Advisers, also in London.
- Memsie Weakley is the controller and internal fund administrator of Pangea Capital Limited and its underlying funds. Mrs. Weakley primary responsibility is for oversight of the special purpose investment vehicles created by Pangea ensuring the veracity of work done by the external administrator and auditor as well as overseeing the day-to-day accounts. Mrs. Weakley has worked across the financial service industry in her 30 year career and is Certified General Accountant, a Chartered Secretary and has an ACII certification from the UK Insurance Institute. Mrs. Weakley has her BA from East Africa University and an MA from Leeds University.
- Leon E. Simmons is a Director of Pangea Capital Limited and brings forty years investment experience in the fields of asset management and administration as well as real estate development. Mr. Simmons provides investment management oversight, business development and critical administrative expertise. Mr. Simmons is President of Challenger Banks Limited, a Bermuda investment management company, and serves on a number of local boards. Education: Miami University, B.S.
